We would like to let you know that

Kirby Cats will be closing with effect from 1st March 2027.

​

Until that date, the cattery will continue to operate as normal.

All existing and future bookings up to 1st March 2027 will be honoured, and the same high standard of care, attention, and love for your cats will remain our absolute priority.

We will continue to take bookings until 1st March 2027.

​

We would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt thanks to all our customers for your continued support, trust, and loyalty over the years. It has truly been a privilege to care for your cats and to be part of so many of your journeys.

Kirby Cats is a Cattery with a difference!

We are a small cattery focused on providing the very best care for your cat.

 

All of our pens are individually heated have a raised enclosed bed, ramp, scratch pad, toys and wonderful views across a mature garden.

 

Our pens also come fitted with a Web Cam providing customers with an opportunity to check on their pets when they are away. 

​

Being a small cattery we are able to dedicate a lot of time with each guest. Your cat is guaranteed to receive lots of attention, play time and cuddles. We are focused on making their stay with us puurrfect! :-)

Important information before you board with us:

Vaccinations:

We have a strict policy that only fully vaccinated cats are eligible for boarding. Your cat must be vaccinated again feline enteritis and upper respiratory infections (cat flu). Vaccination certificates will need to be seen on arrival.   If your cat has never been vaccinated, or the annual booster is out date they will need to have a full course of vaccinations - this will take a period of approximately 6-8 weeks from administering the first required injection.

Neutering & Spaying:

Cats over 7 months of age must be neutered or spayed to be eligible to board. 

​

Flea and Worm Treatment:

Cats must be up to date with Flea and Worm treatments before boarding. 

Flea treatment - usually occurs every month - 6 weeks.

Worming treatment - usually occurs every 3 to 6 months. 

Kirby Cats recommend obtaining treatments from your veterinary surgeon.

Prices: (Please note bank holidays are charged at double rate)

​

1 cat - £15 per day 

2 cats (sharing a pen) *- £23 per day

3 cats (sharing a pen)* - £28.50 per day 

4 cats (sharing a pen)* - £31.50 per day

*Sharing a pen is only available to cats from the same household.

Please note we have a minimum stay charge of £60 for 1 cat & £92 for two cats sharing

WE REQUIRE A 20% NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT AT TIME OF BOOKING

Check in and check out of guests is by appointment only during opening times:

Morning opening times 9am - 11am

Afternoon/Evening opening times 5pm - 7pm

*Bank holidays are subject to change

We are closed to customers for cat collections and cat drop offs on

Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day and Easter Sunday - however cats are able to board during these dates.
